Please make your reservations early so you can get the kid of your choice. A $100.00 deposit is required for each kid reserved. Reservations are recorded in the order that they are received. You will be notified when your kid is born. You will have ten business days after notification to send full payment.
If full payment has not been received within ten business days of notification of birth the kid will be offered to the next person on the list and deposits will be forfieted. We reserve the right to select herd replacements before filling purchase orders. Prices quoted are for pre-ordered kids only. Kids not pre-ordered will be evaluated at birth, reevaluated on an on-going basis and the selling price revised after birth as they grow and develop. Costs of labor, feeding, vaccines, worming, coccidia preventives, and other factors will be considered in the reevaluation and price revision process.
All animals are priced on the farm; all shipping-related costs are additional. For animals not picked up at our farm we can arrange delivery by air frieght from the Kansas City International Airport. Kids are shipped at four weeks of age to the major airport nearest to the purchaser. Shipping-related charges include air transportation, shipping container, health certificate, plus a $50.00 ground transportation charge covering Turnpike tolls and mileage from our farm to KCI airport, and airport parking, all of which are the responsibility of the purchaser and must be prepaid.
Boarding fees will be applied to kids not picked up by four weeks of age at a rate of $10.00 a day.
At the time you send payment, please include the name, complete address and zip code of the person(s) whose name(s) will appear on the registration certificate. Please make all checks payable to Noah L. Goddard or to our farm account, Goddard Farm.
If the kid you have reserved is not born your deposit will be returned or you may apply it to another available kid by mutual agreement.
Where not otherwise stated and agreed to by and between the buyer and seller, we follow the recommended trade practices suggested by the American Dairy Goat Association, (ADGA), XIX RECOMMENDED TRADE PRACTICES FOR MEMBER, published in the most current issue of the ADGA Guidebook, Constitution and Bylaws. We will only consider replacing an animal that has been found to have the genetic inability to breed. The request for replacement must be accompanied by a full medical workup stating the medical findings by a qualified, licensed, and practicing veterinarian that the problem is of a genetic, and not management, nature. All costs associated with any replacements are the responsibility of the purchasing breeder.
We cannot guarantee the health of a animal once it leaves the care and management of our farm.
By making a kid selection and deposit you agree to our published Terms of Sale and Shipping Policy posted here and on our For Sale & Kidding Schedule page.
NOTE: THIS SALES AND SHIPPING POLICY APPLIES TO THE LOWER 48 STATES ONLY. SALES AND SHIPEMNTS TO OTHER LOCATIONS ARE NEGOTIATED SEPARATELY.
