We appreciate your interest in our herd. We are located on 15 acres in northeast Kansas about half way between Topeka and Lawrence just off Kansas Turnpike exit 197. We are about 45 minutes driving time west of downtown Kansas City and the Kansas City International Airport.

Over the years we have carefully selected our breeding stock from proven Nubian herds. We are using bucks from selected bloodlines that produce strength, size, milk and the ability to show well. Our herd was featured in the Lawrence Journal World Sunday, March 13, 1993 & again April 27, 2001, page 2B, in the February 1997 issue of The Goat Magazine, Farm Talk in July of 1999, article by Jennifer Stultz page 17, June/July issue of Dairy Goat Journal and article by Harvey Considine pp. 12-13, December issue of Dairy Goat Journal.

GCH Goddard Farm Raisin Pie 1*M is featured on the new Purina mineral bag and three of our 2002 kids are pictured on the back of the mineral bag. GCH Goddard Farm Hallo 3*M is featured as the centerpiece on the new Purina Mills Goat Chow feed bag. GCH Goddard Farm Gretel 1*M was the 2003 ADGA # 1 TOP TEN Milker.

Preventive medicine is emphasized. All our breeding-age stock including bucks is blood tested annually for Brucellosis, TB, and CAE. This is our 16th consecutive year to be certified, accredited and CAE Free. We deworm regularly while rotating wormers. G-6-S NORMAL HERD --- During the year 2000 - 2001 our entire herd was DNA Tested G-6-S Normal.

Our milkers are fed a 16% grain ration and a very high-quality alfalfa hay supplemented with Brome. The herd is fed free choice goat mineral and iodized salt. Our Nubians have constant access to fresh water through our thermostat-controlled automatic water system in each pen. We sell milk off the farm pursuant to the Kansas Raw Milk Statute.

Our new dairy barn is under construction and is being built to Grade-A standards. We try to attend 5 to ten ADGA shows each year. We are breeding, milking and showing the kind of Nubians we like, we hope you like them too.
