=======================================

U.S. 40 HIGHWAY AT EAST 335 ROAD

Welcome to Goddard Farm™ Nubian Dairy Goats. Sue and I own a small 15-acre farm in rural north west Douglas County Kansas where we have bred and raised purebred Nubian Dairy Goats since 1989. We are about half hour driving time west of Kansas City and the Kansas City International Airport just off of The Kansas Turnpike at exit # 197.
Our most recent adventure is the addition of a new dairy barn and cheese-making facility. Our Grade A Dairy and Manufacturing licenses were issued May, 12 - 2010.
The herd is certified and accredited based on an annual whole herd blood test for T.B. and Brucellosis.
All goats are CAE Free based on an annual ELISA test since 1992. Click on the Drop Down Menu "CAE-Free Herd"
The entire herd is G6S Normal based on DNA testing 2000/2001, or by parentage.
We are on continuous DHIR standard milk test.
All Milkers are vaccinated against mastitis with J-Vac® and Lysigin®. The herd is vaccinated and boosted annually with either Nasalgen™ or TSV-2 ™
The herd is dewormed regularly with Ivomec-Plus®
Milking does are fed a high quality alfalfa supplemented with brome hay and free-choice minerals.
Fresh water is provided through our automatic, thermostat-controlled water systems in each pen.
We feed a 16% grain ration mixed here at the farm.
Milk and milk products, including cheese, yogurt, and sour cream, are sold to supermarkets, specialty food stores, upscale restaurants, and here at the farm.
We are breeding, milking, and showing the kind of Nubians we like, we hope you like them too.
below are some 2010 and 2011 highlights
